The route

   Kalemegdan Fortress

   The Victor monument and the view over the Sava and Danube confluence. The best place to start a first day in Belgrade.

   Knez Mihailova Street

   The pedestrian main street with 19th-century facades, cafés and the way down to Republic Square.

   Cathedral Church of St Michael

   Saborna crkva, the old cathedral of Belgrade, opposite the famous ? (Question Mark) tavern.

   Kosančićev venac

   Cobblestone streets of the oldest part of the city, with views over the Sava.

   Saint Sava Temple

   One of the largest Orthodox churches in the world. Inside, the golden mosaic dome and the crypt.

   Nikola Tesla Museum

   Personal belongings, original devices and the urn of the inventor. Visits are by guided group, usually every hour.

   Gardoš Tower, Zemun

   The Millennium Tower above Zemun's red rooftops and the Danube. A short walk to the riverside quay.

Good to know

• The order of stops changes with traffic and opening hours. Some museums are closed on Mondays and we swap the stop on those days.
• Without a guide, your driver will tell you the basics about each place. For history and stories, book a licensed guide.
• With a guide on board, there is one seat fewer for passengers.
• Comfortable shoes help: Kalemegdan and Kosančićev venac have cobblestones and slopes.
